Deburring
After machining metal parts by means of punching, milling or turning, burrs may have formed on the metal parts. Burrs are sharp edges, fissures or splinters.
Burrs are removed by deburring and reliable further processing of the metal part is possible.
In the example, holes are deburred by means of a spindle.
Hardening steel
In order to change the mechanical resistance of steel, one carries out a transformation of its structure - this process is called hardening.
This can be achieved by heat treating steel and then quenching (sudden cooling).
In the example opposite you can see a workpiece, which is guided via a robot arm into an induction coil and then into a cooling bath.
Labeling with lasers
With the help of an intense laser beam, you can label or mark workpieces, which is also called laser marking. In doing so, the inscribed workpiece is changed - this makes this type of label water and smudge resistant and very durable.
Perfect for company logos, article designations, article numbers, QR code or DataMatrix code and much more - fast and uncomplicated
Grinding or polishing- non-contact machining
To grind or polish workpieces, you can use grinding wheels, sanding belts and polishing wheels.
This can be automated. In this case, either the movement of the tools or that of the workpieces is performed by the robot.
An operating cell can now combine several stations of a workpiece. So after polishing a cleaning can be done or rather a drying of the workpiece?
